[Contact us](https://www.cedarrecovery.com/contact-us) to apply. #### [What does your therapy consist of?](#06fefe187ceb80409) Our therapists are trained in addiction treatment, with unique skills and experience to help you. At your first visit, you will complete an assessment with a therapist to evaluate your needs and set goals for your recovery. Next, you will join a group of other people in recovery to build a supportive and safe community. We also offer individual therapy and recovery support services to help you with your needs such as financial assistance, housing, transportation, food assistance, and more. #### [How long do I have to be on medication? Are there any other medicines / options?](#35e340543c7fc106b) The length of treatment on Suboxone (buprenorphine) varies for each person, but our physicians know that every patient is different and believe in treating the patient as long as needed to be set up for a successful long-term recovery. At your first visit, you will set a plan with your medical provider. If you want to set a goal to taper off of your medication, you can discuss that with them at that time. We also offer mental health services to many of our patients, treating anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues that may complicate the recovery process. We only prescribe non-controlled medications like SSRIs that are effective for most people (not benzodiazepines or other controlled substances).
